Liar liar pants on fire.

Many employees will lie about their abilities or work history. According to outplacement firm Challenger, Gray & Christmas, 10% - 30% of job seekers either fudge the truth or lie on their resume. They also report that it's unlikely that those who exaggerate or are otherwise not honest on their resume will get caught. On the other hand, you don't want to be one of the 15% whose resume gets a much closer look than the others, or, at least, I hope you don't!

Citing a screening firm's review of 249,000 resumes last year, Challenger noted that 52 percent of them were found to have discrepancies. Hmmmm - at least we'll know they are capable of lying.
